jack-mixer software package provides JACK Audio Mixer, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jack-mixer
jack-mixer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jack-mixer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jack-mixer *
You will get with jack-mixer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
